Ari: Ahh, the Epic Finale… Check out the grandiosity in this one.
Kristian: Eternal growth is not possible with limited resources in a restricted environment. At least not without major advancements in technology. We must fund research and also aim to move on to other planets before it’s too late.
Here’s a story about people who used all the resources of their planet and polluted it so that their entire sky is filled up with smog. Now their only option to survive is to realize nuclear fusion. Because degrowth is not an option for them. People don’t want to give away the things they have. Their star is at the end of its life. After achieving planetwide fusion power they plan to shoot their planet to circle the next star and continue to search for other planets to live on.
ARTIFICIAL SUN
Burning away
Resources run out
What can be saved
From rising flame
They came so far
Builders of towers
All became char
After their reign
They conquer the world
Trust in steel and gold
But will they die on their own wealth?
Go!
Artificial sun, the last hope for all
Artificial sun, a hope to save them with fusion
They gathered all
Who knew the questions
Power is all
They needed more
No turning back
All counted on them
How can they crack
The secrets of core
When nights become cold
The truth will unfold
In darkness their final end is dealt
Artificial sun, the last hope for all
Artificial sun, a hope to save them with fusion
They were chasing the golden carrot in the gilded cage
Endless stress piling up, running in the rat race
Matter over mind, they end up lost in the maze
Growth eating life in their success, end of daze
(solo)
The sky is veiled in profound hate of the life giver
Before the last ray they must make a breakthrough and deliver
Artificial sun, the last hope for all
Artificial sun, a hope to save them with fusion
Artificial sun, the last hope for all
Artificial sun, a hope to save them with fusion
